From December 26 to 28, 2025, the HarmonyOS Mobile Application Development Skill Final of the 2025 Belt and Road & BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition was successfully held at Gansu Vocational and Technical College of Communications! More than 150 people, including 69 contestants, team leaders, and instructors from 22 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country, witnessed the event together.

This competition was jointly hosted by the China Council of the BRICS Business Council, the Belt and Road & BRICS International Alliance for Skills Development, and the Belt and Road & BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Training Center, and jointly organized by Gansu Vocational and Technical College of Communications, Zhonghui. Zhonghui provided technical personnel and competition support for this competition.

Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony of the competition was grandly held on the afternoon of the 26th. Yan Linjun, Party Committee Secretary of Gansu Vocational and Technical College of Communications; Song Xiaoqin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Belt and Road & BRICS International Alliance for Skills Development and Director of the Domestic Competition Office of the Executive Committee of the Organizing Committee of the BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition; Bian Xiuyun, Dean of the School of Future Technology at Jiangxi University of Applied Science and Technology and Chief Judge of the competition skill; Li Wenqi, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Gansu Vocational and Technical College of Communications; Zhang Sunhui, General Manager of Zhonghui; and other leaders and guests attended the opening ceremony. Sun Yongji, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Gansu Vocational and Technical College of Communications, presided over the opening ceremony.

On the morning of the 27th, the competitors began fierce competition. The competition content closely followed typical work tasks in HarmonyOS application development and consisted of three competition modules: “Requirements Analysis and Design,” “HarmonyOS Application Development,” and “Application Testing and Delivery,” comprehensively assessing competitors’ professional technical capabilities and innovative abilities in product requirements analysis and design, HarmonyOS application software architecture design, HarmonyOS application coding and development, application testing, and bug fixing.

Relying on its independently developed competition management platform, Zhonghui ensured the professionalism and fairness of the competition through standardized processes; moreover, with a dedicated technical team, it provided full-process support, from pre-competition environment deployment and equipment debugging to on-site operation and maintenance and rapid response during the competition, comprehensively ensuring the safe and stable operation of all stages of the competition.

On the morning of the 28th, the HarmonyOS Mobile Application Development Skill Final of the 2025 Belt and Road & BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition came to a successful conclusion. This competition not only built a platform for industry-education integration and technical exchange for young talents, but also helped vocational colleges continuously optimize their professional talent development systems, promoted the deep integration of vocational education with related industries, and cultivated high-quality technical and skilled talents in the field of software engineering for the national development strategy.

As a co-organizer of this competition, Zhonghui will continue to deepen cooperation with colleges and universities, innovate skilled talent development mechanisms, promote the integration of curriculum systems with practical teaching, and cultivate more high-quality talents who closely follow industry development and are proficient in cutting-edge technologies, providing strong talent support for better building a modern economic system and serving BRICS technical exchange and cooperation.
