On the evening of June 12th, the 45th National Selection Competition for the WorldSkills Competition was inaugurated with great ceremony at the Hong Hall of the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Zhonghui Yunqi Technologies Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: Zhonghui Group), as the technical support unit and sponsor for the Web Technologies project, provided comprehensive high-quality services and all-round technical support.
The competition was held in two venues, Shanghai and Guangdong. The Shanghai venue hosted the competition from June 13th to 15th, with a total of 34 competition projects including Web Technologies, Automotive Technology, Carpentry, Mechatronics, Network System Management, Fashion Technology, Health and Social Care, covering six major areas of the WorldSkills Competition: Transportation and Logistics, Manufacturing and Engineering Technology, Structure and Building Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Creative Arts and Fashion, and Social and Personal Services. A total of 46 teams from across the country, with approximately 900 competitors, participated in the Shanghai venue competition. This is the largest, most comprehensive, highest standard, most participant, and most widely involved skills event held in China to date, in accordance with the WorldSkills concept and rules.
It is reported that Li Qiang, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, Zhang Jinan, Minister of Human Resources and Social Security, Ying Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and Mayor, Simon Bartley, President of WorldSkills, Tang Tao, Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Security, and Zhuge Yujie, a member of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and Secretary-General of the Municipal Party Committee, and other leaders attended the opening ceremony.
