Zhonghui Group Contributed to the Successful Holding of the BRICS Skills Competition 2024 International Finals in AI Computer Vision Applications!
From November 8th to 10th, the BRICS Skills Competition 2024 International Finals in AI Computer Vision Applications was successfully held at Xinjiang Normal Junior College. This competition featured 27 teams from countries such as India and Brazil, and 42 domestic teams participating in skill competitions through both online and offline methods.
The BRICS Skills Competition 2024 was hosted by the Russian Agency for Strategic Initiatives for New Projects, the Russian Skills Development Agency, the BRICS Business Council, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, with competition zones in Russia and China. Among them, the AI Computer Vision Applications competition was held in the Chinese division, organized by the Chinese Working Group on Skills Development, Applied Technology, and Innovation of the BRICS Business Council, the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development International Alliance as the Chinese organizing units, and the Center for Humanities Exchange between China and Foreign Countries of the Ministry of Education as a co-organizing unit. Xinjiang Normal Junior College was responsible for executing and hosting the event, while Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Zhonghui Yunqi Technologies Group Co., Ltd. jointly provided technical support.
Opening Ceremony
Attendees at the opening ceremony included Li Yunjie, Deputy Director of the First Division of the Chinese Competition Office of the BRICS Skills and Vocational Training Competition, Mukayi Garkenbek, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Xinjiang Normal Junior College, Bian Jihai, Chairman and CEO of Zhonghui Yunqi Technologies Group Co., Ltd., and Tang Weiqi, Chief Judge of the competition, among other leaders and guests.
AI Computer Vision Applications Competition
The AI Computer Vision Applications competition closely aligns with the strategic planning for the development of the new generation of AI industries and the technical development direction of AI in the field of computer vision. Designed with actual industrial applications as the project background, the competition consists of three parts: AI environment setup, data processing and analysis, and computer vision applications. Contestants are required to complete task assessments by setting up AI-related environments, performing data cleaning, data processing, data visualization, dataset division, model building, model training, model tuning, model prediction, model saving, and other operations.
Awarding
At 10:30 am on November 10th, the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the BRICS Skills Competition 2024 International Finals in AI Computer Vision Applications was held grandly at Xinjiang Normal Junior College. Attendees included Li Yunjie, Deputy Director of the First Division of the Chinese Competition Office of the BRICS Skills and Vocational Training Competition, Yang Deming, General Manager of Zhonghui Yunqi Technologies Group Co., Ltd. Xi'an Branch, and Tang Weiqi, Chief Judge of the competition, among other leaders and guests, who presented awards to the winners and their instructors.
Zhonghui Group, with its proactive service attitude and comprehensive technical support, received high recognition from the competition organizers and was awarded the "Outstanding Contribution Award.
The BRICS Skills Competition 2024 International Finals in AI Computer Vision Applications focuses on the latest technologies and practical applications in this field, providing a valuable platform for young talents from different countries to showcase their talents and learn from each other.
