From November 15th to 17th, the BRICS Skills Competition 2024 Blockchain Technology International Finals were successfully held at Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College. Since the launch of the event, participants from China, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and South Africa have actively registered. After several rounds of selection, a total of 71 teams participated in the International Finals for the final competition.

The BRICS Skills Competition 2024 is organized by the Russian Skill Development Agency, the Russian Strategic Initiatives Agency, the BRICS Business Council, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, with a main competition area in Russia and a sub-competition area in China. Blockchain Technology is part of the Chinese sub-competition area, organized by the Chinese Working Group on Skill Development, Applied Technology, and Innovation of the BRICS Business Council, the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development International Alliance as the Chinese organizational units, and the Center for International Exchange of the Ministry of Education as a co-organizing unit. Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College is the executive host, with Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Zhonghui Yunqi Technologies Group Co., Ltd. jointly providing technical support.

Blockchain Technology

Blockchain Technology is designed based on typical application scenarios of blockchain in fields such as evidence preservation and traceability. It consists of three parts: blockchain product solution design and system maintenance, smart contract development and testing, and blockchain application system development. Participants need to use blockchain technology to build a blockchain application platform, develop smart contracts that meet the requirements, and develop blockchain application systems according to specific scenarios and needs.

Outstanding Contribution Award

On November 17th, the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the BRICS Skills Competition 2024 Blockchain Technology International Finals were held at Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College. Deputy Director Song Xiaoqin of the Chinese Competition Office of the BRICS Skills Competition, Vice President Cang Ping of Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College, and Chief Arbitrator Wang Yanbing attended the ceremony and awarded prizes. Among them, Zhonghui Group was highly recognized by the competition's organizing committee for its active service attitude and thoughtful technical support and was awarded the "Outstanding Contribution Award."

The BRICS Skills Competition 2024 gathered vocational college students and technical talents from different countries. Through intense skill competition, it not only demonstrated their professional skills and innovative thinking but also promoted mutual learning and understanding among participants, deepening cultural identity and technical exchanges. In addition, the successful holding of the competition provided a platform for each participating country to showcase its vocational education achievements, helping to promote the sharing and optimal allocation of vocational education resources, further stimulating the enthusiasm of the younger generation to engage in skill development, and providing more high-quality technical and skilled talents for the economic development of BRICS countries.

As a technical support unit of this competition, Zhonghui Group will follow the pace of the BRICS Business Council Skills Development Working Group, effectively play the role of the competition as a medium and bridge, deepen the integration of industry and education, and the integration of science and education, work with domestic and foreign colleges and universities to build a high-quality development community of vocational education, and jointly promote the cultivation of high-quality technical and skilled talents in BRICS countries, contributing positively to cooperation and exchange in the field of education and sustainable economic development in BRICS countries.
