On April 28, 2024, the Guangzhou Invitational for some of the 47th WorldSkills Competition events was grandly opened at Guangzhou Industry and Trade Technical College. Zhonghui Yunqi Technologies Group Co., Ltd. Opening Ceremony

WorldSkills Organization Board member, Competition Committee Stefan Praschl, Feng Jianqiang, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Service Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Li Zhengyu, Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security Yang Hongshan, Director of the Education and Examination Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Hao Zhiqiang, Director of the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security Wang Zhiming, Deputy Director of the Training Department of the China Mechanical Industry Federation Zheng Limei, Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security Fang Baocheng, and other leaders and guests, 14 teams from countries and regions, as well as representatives from enterprises, media, middle schools, and technical colleges, a total of more than 500 people participated in the opening event.

At the ceremony, under the witness of leaders from all sides, Zhonghui Group Chairman and CEO Bian Jihai and Principal of Guangzhou Industry and Trade Technical College Li Hongqiang signed the "School-Enterprise Cooperation Agreement". The school and enterprise will jointly build the "WorldSkills Competition Mobile Applications Development Project Enterprise Training Base" and "Zhonghui Group School-Enterprise Cooperative Research Base", give full play to the unique advantages of both sides, and jointly cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents in the field of Mobile Applications Development.

Guangzhou Invitational

The purpose of this invitational is to share the experience of cultivating and training WorldSkills Competition contestants from various countries and regions through competition and exchange, to improve the contestants' skill level and competition ability, and to promote the exchange of experience in talent training skills among various countries and regions.

The invitational includes 4 events: Mobile Applications Development, CAD Mechanical Design, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and Network System Management, with more than 80 experts, coaches, and contestants from 14 countries and regions such as China, Australia, Canada, South Korea, and Germany gathering together for discussion and exchange. The event follows the WorldSkills standard and can be regarded as a full-process rehearsal before the 47th WorldSkills Competition.

Skill Display and Exchange Activities

During the competition, there are also high-skilled talent training experience exchange activities, Skill Carnival, and other skill display and exchange activities.

1. High-Skilled Talent Training Experience Exchange Activity

In the "High-Skilled Talent Training Experience Exchange under the International Perspective" activity, experts from the WorldSkills Organization, domestic and foreign vocational colleges, vocational and technical education research institutions, industry organizations, enterprises, and other fields gathered together to discuss the theme of "WorldSkills leads, digital intelligence empowers", to carry out keynote speeches, exchange discussions, and on-site interactions, to share the latest trends in WorldSkills occupational standards and talent training, and to explore new directions and paths for high-skilled talent training in the era of artificial intelligence.

Zhonghui Group Chairman and CEO Bian Jihai attended the event and gave a keynote speech titled "From the WorldSkills Platform to the Future Workplace: Shaping Forces Adapting to Technological Changes". Chairman Bian Jihai shared how Zhonghui Group has integrated WorldSkills standards into the entire process of talent training.
